My Story: A film by Club des 7 jours
This project, My Story, which focuses on LGBTQ people in Togo, is a film that chronicles the life stories of LGBTQ individuals and explores the challenges they face in their quest for acceptance and happiness. Through a series of narrative scenes, the film highlights the personal journeys, struggles, triumphs, and interpersonal relationships of LGBTQ characters as they navigate society and their families. The actors in the film, who shared their personal experiences, also mentioned in their testimonies the issues of discrimination and stigmatization they face on a daily basis.
